“I have been a keen amateur musician for years but never managed to learn my dream instrument, the piano. I decided to save for an electric piano, around £200, to learn on, as I was determined. Firstly, I cut out all treats and put the money aside, working it out from my shopping receipts. Whenever I felt like snacking, I did some note practice instead. Then I saved all my change in a jar and cashed it in, saving it through Westcountry Savings & Loans. In three months I had enough, and I could start my scales practice right away. I’m not at the gigging stage yet, but I’m confident I’ll get there soon!”
